  1. 3:1 for Idli,ie., One & half raw rice & one & half booked rice,one full Urdhal, whichever cup u measure it should be the same. For Dosa 3: three fourth with Methi seeds & Thurdhal. Whichever cup u measure it should be the same for all,( if one &half raw ricethen one & half should be boiled rice, one teaspoon Methi seeds,& Thurdhal to be separately soaked), Urdhal three fourth spearately soaked. If u use grinder the quantity will increased Urdhal would be fluffy

  2. M so confused with idli batter measurements..some say 1 urad dal: 4 cups idli rice..some say 1:3 urad dal: idli rice.. and you used 1:2!!! M confused as to which one is correct measurements..if somebody’s reading this please clear my doubts..

  3. That methu vada definitely coming not crispy.. B coz that half breaked urad dhal… Full size urad has only coming inner soft, outer crispy… That vada opening 2 shots here…it seems to be not crispy…. I am north side b coz of work… Here full size urad dhal not much…. Soooo I know….
