These pots are traditional in a rural area of Pakistan where people make them with their hands. I made Tawa Chicken with homemade masala and first prepared in a pot then transferred in a hand made stone pot. I also used burning coal and placed it in the middle of the pot in a small bowl, which gave the chicken a real barbecue smell and taste. 1. Chicken with bones 1 kg.
2. Amchoor powder 2 tsp.
3. Cumin seed powder 1 tsp.
4. Kasoori methi 1 tsp.
5. White pepper powder 1 tsp.
6. Coriander seeds powder 1 TSF
7. Turmeric powder 1 tsp.
8. Garam masala 1 tsp.
9. Red chili powder 2 tsp.
10. Salt 1 tsp.
11. Paprika powder 1 tsp.
12. Crushed Ginger 2 tsp.
13. Crushed Garlic 2 tsp.
14. Yogurt 3 TSF
15. Tomato Catchup 3 TSF
16. Tomatoes 3 cut in pieces.
17. Two big onions finely cut.
18. Green peppers 2 in pieces.
19. Cooking oil or Ghee for cooking.
20. Tomato paste 1/2 cup.
21. For garnishing parsley, mint, and ginger.
